The Pandemic and All-Hazards Preparedness Reauthorization Act of 2013 (PAHPRA) contains key legal authorities to sustain and strengthen the Nation’s preparedness for public health emergencies involving chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) agents, as well as emerging infectious disease threats. Despite decades of experience with the impact of the influenza virus and now the Corona Virus, why do you think it’s important for the FDA to play a role in pandemic risk and preparedness?
