The American Revolution

I’m studying for my History class and need an explanation.

Did the American Revolution destroy or maintain social inequality? The readings listed below force us to consider this question from the perspectives of three groups: African Americans, poor white men, and women.

Using some or all of the primary sources listed below, respond to the question in 3 – 5 double- spaced pages. In answering the question you should examine how these writers employ the principles and ideas of the American Revolution for their own aims.
