- Across British Columbia in the twentieth century settlements, towns, and cities rose—and some fell. Indeed, some were extinguished. Describe and explain that process using specific examples.
- Was British Columbia socially, economically, politically, and environmentally distinct in Canada during the twentieth century? If so, why? If not, why?
- Divisions along lines of class, race, and ethnicity had social, economic, and political implications for twentieth-century British Columbians. Discuss and illustrate with examples.
