select the “issues” menu of the American Civil Liberties Union’s (ACLU) website . Click on “Issues” and select an issue of your interest.

Read the information. This will take you to the rest of the information where you will read a press release about a specific case concerning the issue you’ve selected and write a SECOND letter to the decision maker in that case. For example: writing to the head of the U.S. Department of Social and Health Services advocating for him/her/they to support some type of action (you need to conduct some research to identify a person and address).

Write a letter of complaint to a company that has disappointed you–this could be a real situation or one fabricated for the purposes of this assignment
