In the second milestone writing assignment, you will analyze asymmetric and symmetric encryption. Evaluate the differences between the two of them and which one that you would determine is the most secure. At first glance, the key wrapping approach to encrypting symmetric keys for key management applications seems unnecessarily elaborate. The alternative would be a simple encryption using AES or an authenticated encryption using one of the block cipher modes of operation that provides authenticated encryption. Discuss the relative merits of using one of these approaches compared to key wrapping.

Note

The writing assignment requires a minimum of 800 words.  You must use a minimum of three scholarly articles to complete the assignment.

Introduction: Standard deviation is a proven mathematical methodology to measure the level of volatility for return on investments. When financial managers compare two funds with identical annualized returns, the fund with a lower standard deviation is typically the most attractive. The most common measure used for fund evaluation is standard deviation.

Step 1: Introduction about Standard Deviation and Risk

Provide a definition and introduction about “standard deviation” and explain how it is used to quantify risk.
The overall written analysis essay should include a minimum of three references cited within the content of the paper and the reference page according to APA guidelines.

Step 2: Standard Deviation 5 Step Procedure

Examine, in order, the five-step procedure for finding the standard deviation. Provide a brief description of each step and its purpose when possible. Review internal course readings and external sites about the standard deviation five-step procedure.
Note: you may find external sites that use more than five steps. It is okay to include and write about more than five standard deviation steps.

One theory of technology puts forth the idea that technical things, or artifacts, have value-laden qualities. Furthermore, some of these value-laden qualities may include political values. As a consequence, any sharing of that artifact between different people would entail a sharing, and perhaps a spreading, of those same political values. But what does this mean?

Put another way: oftentimes, introducing new technologies into different cultures require their people to adapt or change their lifestyles, including the sphere of life we might call the political (that is, how and where they work, how they build cities and infrastructure, how they form organizations and institutions, and select leaders, etc.).

consider whether or not some technology (of your choice) possess inherently political values. Do research on how that technology has influenced the political behavior of another country’s people outside of the US and Canada, regardless of where that technology was first designed and developed.

be sure to:

1. Describe the relevant factual details of the case you will be discussing (i.e., the technology, where it was first developed, how people are using it in another country, etc.).

2. Take a position on whether or not the technology possesses inherently political qualities. Explain.

There are a several reasons for creating an annotated bibliography. Frequently, they are used to provide a quick overview of content that is relevant and useful to a topic but was not used as a referenced source in a paper. Sometimes an annotated bibliography stands alone as a document that provides a quick overview of a body of literature. Writing an annotation is good practice in the skill of summarizing the content and relevance of an article.

Instructions

• Review the resources on how to select a credible source and how to write an annotated bibliography. These resources can be found in the Instructional Materials folder for Module 3.
• There must be a minimum of five (5) documents/sources/references used in the bibliography. The documents must be beyond those required in or used in previous assignments.
• Scholarly and credible JOURNAL articles must be used. Website references CANNOT be included. It’s best to retrieve the articles from the library database and select the “peer-reviewed” tab.
• Chosen articles are to deepen an understanding of the health issue and/or the country selected for the final paper. The content of the chosen articles must be clearly relevant to the content of the final paper.
• Complete the annotation for each of the five (5) sources.

o Each annotated article is to be on a separate page
