Using the Internet and the Walden Library databases, you will research a current article in regards to international finance (or international economics). Summarize the article and support your observations with evidence from research and the readings using the following criteria:

• Briefly summarize the article
• State what you have learned
• Describe what you found to be most interesting
• Discuss whether you agreed or disagreed with the viewpoints presented
• Relate the information to your personal and professional life

International Bond And Equity Markets

International bond and equity markets play a significant role in our global economy. They account for hundreds of trillions of dollars on a worldwide scale. Despite their significant roles in the economy, they have very different characteristics. Reflect on your reading from this week and consider what types of companies would invest in these markets.

With these thoughts in mind, address the following:

• Compare and contrast the financial instruments, risks, and rewards of investing in the international bond markets and international equity markets. Include in your comparison the types of businesses that would issue securities in each market type or invest (buy) securities in these markets.
• Explain whether you agree that a typical investor will need to have more exposure to these markets in the future. Support your position using this week’s Learning Resources.

Examine the high-risk nutritional behaviors associated with different cultures. Identify the historical perspectives, belief systems, and other factors associated with these high-risk nutritional behaviors for each culture.

Instructions

Write in 1,500-3,000-words on your findings in which you accomplish the following:

1. Summarize the high risk-nutritional behaviors practiced among two or three different cultures.
2. Discuss the historical perspectives and belief systems of these cultures that influence the high-risk nutritional behaviors.
3. Discuss the role of the health care provider in caring for individuals with high-risk behaviors for each culture. These may include, but are not limited to (a) education, (b) family roles, (c) spiritual beliefs, (d) health care practices, and (e) drug and alcohol use.
