Crud. Your young daughter has an ear infection. You have a telemedicine appointment with the on-call doctor, and they prescribe a medication. You leave your daughter with your spouse, you go to your 24-hour pharmacy, and the pharmacist says it will be about a 40-minute wait. You remember you were working on a discussion post in e-Commerce. Wisely, you brought your tablet. So, you go back to your car to get comfortable, hop on the free Wi-Fi, and work on the post. Think about the e-Commerce changes you have seen over the last few years, as well as all the concepts you have learned across the course. Complete both 1 and 2 in your main post.

1. Summarize at least two trends in supply chain management and collaboration. Provide one example for each of the trends.
2. Discuss potential benefits of B2B commerce. Identify how B2B e-Commerce differs in procurement from B2C.

Instructions

When you respond to your peers, pretend to respond to a business owner that is struggling with supply chain issues in their B2B model. Come up with some suggestions that expand on the main post or provide additional solutions. This is exactly what happens in the real world.

Response Parameters

Prompts for this course are not opinion questions and should, therefore, be supported with scholarly sources. You can use the textbook, but that does not count as your obtained scholarly source.

Scholarly sources should be from current peer-reviewed journal articles (published within the last 36 months) and support your content. So, one of your sources for each of your main posts needs to be published in a valid scholarly journal within the last 36 months—older will not “count” as your supporting source. However, you may include older sources, in addition to more current ones, to further support your posts.

The Proposal requires you to propose a solution that will be supported with sources, as you will be asking to be funded. The discussions allow you to practice this approach. Scholarly sources carry more weight, as they have been validated. Wikipedia, for example, is not a valid source for an academic environment.

Peer responses should also be supported with sources that can be from the textbook, peer-reviewed journal articles, and other reputable sources.

• Posts should be 300 words in length
• A minimum of one obtained scholarly source is needed, and it should be included in the reference list at the end of the post
• All content from the source should be properly cited or quoted in the post, using APA or MLA format. Reminder that quoted content should make up no more than 20% of your post and should be reserved for content, such as statistics and dollar amounts. Overusing an author’s exact words, such as including block quotations to meet word counts, may lead your readers to conclude that you lack appropriate comprehension of the subject matter or that you are neither an original thinker nor a skillful writer.

Explore The Challenges In Resolving Value Conflicts In Ethical Practice

Even when you do not declare your values publicly, your lifestyles, verbal, and nonverbal communications usually indicate the values you hold. Assume you have been asked to present at the next regional Social Work conference about these issues. You have decided to discuss the challenges of working with a diverse client base and managing value conflicts.

Prepare a narrated PowerPoint presentation for your conference session. Begin by describing a situation with a client system in which the values of a client, your values, and a primary social work value were in opposition or significant conflict. You may use a hypothetical situation if you have yet to experience this in the field. For example, a lesbian social worker is attempting to place an adolescent in foster care with a religiously conservative family. The adolescent wants to remain in temporary placement with a teacher who is openly gay, but the agency prohibits placements with single parents and sexual minority families. The social worker has not professionally disclosed her sexual orientation. How would these issues be resolved in an ethical decision-making process?

Construct your own example and include the following in your presentation:

• Integrate the readings in the course so far by outlining a process of decision-making for social workers clearly modeling the necessary steps to practice ethically with these conflicts present.
• Analyze the challenges diversity presents in addressing these conflicts. Examine best practices to adhere to the Code of Ethics while providing the best service for your clients.

Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as speaker notes for each slide. The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists and should cite material appropriately. Add audio to each slide using the Media section of the Insert tab in the top menu bar for each slide.
