Assessment Description

Frameworks were briefly introduced in Topic 1 as students mapped HIPAA and PCI to the NIST 800-53 set of security controls. NIST is only one of many available frameworks companies can use to establish and manage their IT and security programs while meeting industry standards, regulations, compliance, and laws. This assignment will continue evaluating frameworks and the applicability.

In a two to four-page paper, provide a comparison of five major frameworks. For each framework, identify the similarities and differences among each of the other frameworks in a matrix fashion.

Potential frameworks include: COSO, COBIT, ISO 27001, ITIL, NIST 800 Series, Risk Management Framework, Cybersecurity Framework, Factor Analysis of Information Risk (FAIR), Threat Agent Risk Assessment (TARA), or Operationally Critical Threat Asset and Vulnerability Evaluation (OCTAVE). Note: Prince2, PMBOK, OPM3, SixSigma, and other project management-based models are not applicable for this assignment.

Make sure to address the following:

1. Explain each framework (purpose) and how they can be applied to a company.
2. List the similarities and differences among them.
3. Identify the advantages and disadvantages of each framework.
4. Frameworks provide guidance to ensure information privacy and security. While privacy focuses on an individual’s right, security refers to an organization’s responsibility. Provide one ethical standpoint that you would choose privacy over security and discuss it from the Christian worldview.
5. Describe the industry or organization best suited to each framework (i.e., hospital, banking, manufacturing, retail). Include examples.

Briefly answer the questions below to explain the differences between the five frameworks selected and Access Control Models presented:

1. What is the difference between an Access Control Model and Security Framework?

The Complexity of Eating disorder response Recovery in the Digital Age

Through this week’s Learning Resources, you become aware not only of the prevalence of factors involved in the treatment of eating disorders, but also the societal, medical, and cultural influences that help individuals develop and sustain the unhealthy behaviors related to an eating disorder. These behaviors have drastic impacts on health. In clinical practice, social workers need to know about the resources available to clients living with an eating disorder and be comfortable developing interdisciplinary, individualized treatment plans for recovery that incorporate medical and other specialists.

For this Discussion, you focus on guiding clients through treatment and recovery.

To prepare:

• Review the Learning Resources on experiences of living with an eating disorder, as well as social and cultural influences on the disorder.
• Read the case provided by your instructor for this week’s Discussion.

 address the following:

• Provide the full DSM-5 diagnosis for the client. Remember, a full diagnosis should include the name of the disorder, ICD-10-CM code, specifiers, severity, and the Z codes (other conditions that may be a focus of clinical attention). Keep in mind a diagnosis covers the most recent 12 months.
• Explain the diagnosis by matching the symptoms identified in the case to the specific criteria for the diagnosis.
• Explain why it is important to use an interprofessional approach in treatment. Identity specific professionals you would recommend for the team, and describe how you might best utilize or focus their services.
• Explain how you would use the client’s family to support recovery. Include specific behavioral examples.
• Select and explain an evidence-based, focused treatment approach that you might use in your part of the overall treatment plan.
• Explain how culture and diversity influence these disorders. Consider how gender, age, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, and/or ethnicity/race affect the experience of living with an eating disorder.

Your boss has asked you to investigate these operations and tasks that he feels have a significant potential for injury in the manufacturing plant:

1. Operating electric forklifts in narrow aisles.
2. Repairing the hydraulic system on the gas-powered forklift.
3. Operating the large sheet metal shear.

For each of the three tasks, do the following:

• Identify a minimum of two (or three) hazards of the operation and the injuries that could result from exposure to them.
• Determine the control measures that would eliminate the identified hazards or reduce the risk (severity and/or probability) of injury. Be sure to consider all levels in the hierarchy of controls.
• Analyze the effectiveness of each control measure by assessing the risks before and after the control is implemented.
• Provide your recommendations for which control measures should be implemented and why you chose them.
