In this unit’s discussion post, you researched a social problem related to a recent technological advancement.

Next, you are to write a brief outline (see template below for guidance) analyzing the life cycle of that social problem. The life cycle of social problems includes the following stages:

  1. Emergence and claims-making
  2. Legitimacy
  3. Renewed claims making
  4. Development of alternative strategies

Make sure to support each point with facts derived from valid outside sources selected with the methods covered in this week’s discussion post.
