Report Format/Contents: report should address the following items:

1. A survey of the specific topic selected… what has been done? how does it work/used? What is the key technology for this field?

2. Discuss key areas of research (past, present, and future).

3. What are the applications?

4. Identify the role of the biomedical engineer in the selected field?

5. What courses in the biomedical engineering curriculum is/are related to this topic? How?

Reports should be roughly 3-5 pages, single spaced. Items 1-3 above should form approximately ~80% of the report. Items 4 and 5 can be combined into one section and comprise the remaining ~20%.
