Review the Ethical Case on page 100 regarding Stella Liebeck and McDonald’s and answer the following questions:

1. Do you think McDonald’s provided proper warnings to its customers about the hot coffee?
2. Do you think McDonald’s was, in fact, negligent in this situation?
3. Do you think McDonald’s acted ethically in offering Ms. Liebeck an $800 settlement? What if you now know that McDonald’s was informed that the $800 settlement offer was too low before the case went to trial?
