1. “Group assignments” do not necessarily mean group grade. Students shall be credited only for “substantive” and “timely” work/participation documented on the Group’s Discussion Board. Each group is required to create their own group discussion board within a week of group assignment. • Substantive means: narrative post(s) from each student in the group (found on the group discussion board) that addresses all of the following:

• In addition to the aforementioned “original post” each student in the group is required to participate and contribute to the group discussion board post(s) concerning/discussing all the group members’ individual submissions on the group discussion board on each group assignment (“follow up/discussion posts”). The group will then vote and agree what the spokesperson is to present as the group submission.

Group “It’s Your Gavel” Question Assignments

1. A list of participating and non-participating student names.

1. Complete detailed answers addressing each of the issue(s) in the selected cases using proper English and APA Style for citations and references.

• The issue(s)/question(s) must be repeated in full and followed by the group’s narrative response which must include substantively and properly used and APA Style cited sources.
• The references used for each issue/answer shall follow before proceeding to the next question/issue.

1. More than two “External Authoritative Sources” are required in addition to the textbook for maximum points on EACH issue/question.
   • Each paragraph and/or each substantive issue addressed in an answer must have at least one “External Authoritative Sources” cited (not including the text book).
   • It is unacceptable to have paragraph(s) or issue(s) with zero sources cited and then have one paragraph or issue to contain all three “external authoritative sources” and the text book.

There is more which students should review in the syllabus. However, the foregoing states all work shall be on canvas and not other apps or sites. 2.1 Each student shall find and review two (2) “External Authoritative Sources” (defined below), discussing the changed environment between pharmaceutical companies and medical providers concerning gifts. And provide a brief narrative paragraph (one paragraph required for each of the required two (2) “external authoritative sources”) incorporating proper APA in-text citations and reference for each source, as well as, a link for each source which leads to the full article referenced is required immediately following each reference.

2.2 Each source citation shall be substantively used and properly placed in the narrative.

2.3 Each source reference including the link to the full article shall be placed immediately after each paragraph.
