Polygenic Inheritance Lab Report

1.Using a pencil, shade a 4 cm x 4 cm square of paper.

2.Rub your finger in a circular motion, covering all your triradii in graphite.

3.Place tape on your finger, make sure all the triradii are included, and peel the tape away and stick to your record sheet (Table 22.2 or the worksheet).

4.Repeat the process for all 10 fingers.

5.Carefully examine each print using a hand lens or your cell phone. Determine the ridge count for each finger.

6.Record your data in Table 22.3 (manual) or Table 2 (worksheet)
