Objective 1: Improve my skills in performing comprehensive history, and psychosocial assessment including functional assessment on patients.

 

Planned Activities: identification of potential mental and behavioral disorders

· Continue with comprehensive mental assessment on all patient encounters

· interprets results of mental status exam, be comfortable in asking open ended questions with patients why maintaining eye contact and professionalism and be non-judgmental

 

Objective 2: Brush up selection of Pharmacotherapeutic skills with patients.

 

Planned Activities: use evidence based clinical practice guidelines for selecting appropriate medication for individualized mental health disorders and use my preceptor as a guide

Planned Activities: Appertain advanced assessment skills with psychiatric differential diagnosis.
