ESSAY # I In Body and Soul: The Black Panther Party and the Fight Against Medical Discrimination, Dr. Alondra Nelson details a little known, but consequential, health social movement. Drawing on course materials, construct an analysis of what kind of health social movement the Black Panther Party efforts represent. Be sure to consider why the Black Panther Party represents a particular kind of health social movement or not. Overall, in this essay, you must be sure to relate Nelson’s’ empirical findings & arguments with at least two additional readings/films from course materials covered over the quarter.
