1) Watson and Crick present their evidence for their theory in an article published in “Nature”, a research journal. Alongside their research, the infamous, “Photo 51”, taken by Raymond Gosling, helped conclude the final structure.
Using evidence in the article and the photo itself, explain what this photo shows and how is this photo significant to Watson and Crick’s research.
2) In the article, Watson and Crick gave their criticism on Pauling and Corey’s depiction of DNA. Pauling and Corey’s article came out a few months before Watson and Crick’s article. What were the major differences between their models? Who do you agree more with?
